The Full Story

You’ll find The Chickadee Room down on Keefer St, nestled in the heart of Vancouver’s Chinatown cocktail scene. Established as a pop up in the late summer of 2020, a pair of restaurant industry vets started serving cocktails on a patio as Vancouver started reopened from the Covid crisis. After great success, it became a permanent fixture in Chinatown by the end  of that year. The creative beverage program draws inspiration from both 80's nostalgia and modern day pop culture. Its name is derived from its huge neon sign that warmly glows at the back of the room. The old movie prop, graciously donated to us by its designer, was created for the CBC television show Intelligence. We pride ourselves on offing a space hosts both the best happy hour in the city and a spirited space for that last cheeky of the night.
